Just wanted to share a little funny face with you! Gotta love bubbles.

I am located in the South Jersey. My love for photography has stemmed from when I was a teenager but became more than a hobby when my wonderful husband and I had our first child. What I felt was indescribable. From the moment I set eyes on my precious miracle I wanted to photograph every aspect of his life to share with my family, friends and my son.
Once I realized this passion I wanted to capture these special moments for others. What better way to do that than through a photograph. I take pride in making those special moments a part of your life, FOREVER !

I know that I have been gone for a while but we had some sadness in my family. My grandmother passed away. She was 93 years old.
My grandmother was one of a kind. She was sharp, talented, smart, and beautiful. These are only a few of the words that describe her. I could go on forever. As my brother stated in his eulogy ”being only 4′11, she stood 6 ft tall”.
Thank you to all that have given me and my family your wishes and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
I love you Nana and have already missed you before you went to heaven!
- It sounds like your grandmother lived a life of being loved. I am so sorry for your loss.
- I'm sorry for your loss, Claire, and I hope that the hole in your heart will start to ache less as the days pass.
- Sorry for your lost..
- So sorry to hear about your Nana. Beautiful what your brother wrote.
Butterfly Kisses
There’s two things I know for sure.
She was sent here from heaven,
and she’s daddy’s little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night,
she talks to Jesus, and I close my eyes.
And I thank God for all of the joy in
my life, But most of all, for…
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer.
Stickin’ little white flowers all up in her hair.
“Walk beside the pony daddy,
it’s my first ride.”
“I know the cake looks funny,
daddy, but I sure tried.”
Oh, with all that I’ve done wrong,
I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every morning,
And butterfly kisses at night.
Sweet sixteen today,
She’s looking like her momma
a little more everyday.
One part woman, the other part girl.
To perfume and makeup,
form ribbons and curls.
Trying her wings out
in a great big world. But I remember…
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer.
Stickin’ little white flowers all up in her hair.
“You know how much I love you daddy,
But if you don’t mind,
I’m only going to kiss you on
the cheek this time.”
With all that I’ve done wrong
I must have done something right.
To deserve her love every morning,
And butterfly kisses at night.
All the precious time
Like the wind, the years go by
Precious butterfly
Spread your wings and fly
She’ll change her name today.
She’ll make a promise,
and I’ll give her away.
Standing in the bride room
just staring at her,
she asked me what I’m thinking,
and I said “I’m not sure,
I just feel like I’m losing my baby girl.”
Then she leaned over….and gave me….
Butterfly kisses, with her mama there
Sticking little flowers all up in her hair
“Walk me down the aisle, daddy,
it’s just about time.”
“Does my wedding gown look pretty, daddy?”
“Daddy, don’t cry.”
With all that I’ve done wrong,
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every morning,
And butterfly kisses
I couldn’t ask God for more, man, this is what love is
I know I’ve gotta let her go, but I’ll always remember
Every hug in the morning, and butterfly kisses…

“What the doctors did not tell us… Before we were able to take Amelia home from the NICU, we had a “team” meeting with her doctors. This meeting included general doctors, nurses, specialists, geneticists, social workers, and counselors. We were given a checklist of what she would never accomplish, how her health concerns would negatively affect her life, and how she might possibly die by the age of two. Sobbing hysterically by the end, I was unsure I would ever catch my breath again. Almost two years later, I reflect on that day and think of the many things they forgot to tell us… The geneticist forgot to mention the many times throughout the day you will look at her and feel overwhelmed with peace that such a person exists in this world. The general doctor never mentioned the many times we will tell her we love her and snuggle up close to her face to feel the warmth of her breath in our ear knowing in our hearts that she is telling us she loves us back. Never did the social workers say that her siblings will learn that everyone has a place in this world even if society does not treat her with the respect and dignity she deserves . The orthopedics didn’t say that even though she may never walk to the park she will enjoy the sunshine on her face and the fresh air on her skin as much as any other child does. The nurses didn’t tell us that she will ease your pain with just a little cuddle under your chin after a long day at work. The neurologist was quick to tell us she may never know you or recognize you but they didn’t tell us she would pick her head up while you are holding her and look you dead in they eye when you are talking to others around you as if she is saying, “I hear you and I AM HERE!”

Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mom -
I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on – Pooped on – Spit on – Chewed on, or Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests…or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life
so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn’t know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn’t know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn’t know that something so small could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
